Pharmacy Ownership Program (POPS) The future of Independent Pharmacy is reliant upon the continuing desire of pharmacy students and recent graduates to acquire their own pharmacy. The POPS program offers an opportunity to pharmacists who are five to ten years away from retiring but who have no exit strategy to meet and be matched with newly graduated pharmacists who are looking to purchase a pharmacy. ICP is creating a database of both pharmacy owners and newly graduated pharmacists. ICP will supply support in the meeting, matching and the purchase of stores on an individual bases.
